About Melbourne Athletic Association

Melbourne has a long and storied history of fastball (windmill) for decades – last year we fielded two four pitch teams, and teams at Atom, Squirt and Peewee.  This year we hope to host teams from 4-pitch (2004 and younger) to Bantam (1996-97). These teams are open to boys and girls. Building on 4 recent ORSA champion ships we are looking to host a Novice (99-98) competitive girls’ team that will look to play in Tri-County Female Fastball league and enter PWSA provincials.

Also the Association operates the diamonds which hosts the “Bush Whackers” men’s slo-pitch team, and two Men’s fast ball teams – “The Mercs and the The Mile”.  We are looking for women to resurrect our Womens’ slo-pitch team which was vacant for the first time in decades in 2011.

We are also looking for anyone who wants to volunteer in any capacity – and fans to come out and cheer on our teams and support our association at the booth, known for some of the best fries in Middlesex county.  Come out this year and cheer on our teams on a warm summer evening.
